Active power balance capability of security and stability control system (SSCS) against outage of UHVDC

چکیده

The aim of the security and stability control system (SSCS) is to maintain active power balance frequency stability. For large SSCS, it difficult find state space transition rates paths. flat design yields more complex topology. Considering random outages, ultra-high-voltage dc (UHVDC) has capacity levels states. existing evaluation cannot quantify capability SSCS. This paper newly quantifies multi-level SSCS with partial or complete outage UHVDC. An incidence matrix proposed describe topology A recursive solution calculate proposed. equivalent downward rate defined. increasable generation UHVDC at any initial are included. numerical analysis shows that algorithm reduces calculation effort for practical multi-level, redundancy component, design. decided by power, reduced rate.
